Jordyn is 17 years old and attends Yosemite High School.  

Her father is Mark Ahrens and she has two siblings, Tenaya and John.

She enjoys golf, FFA, swimming, hiking, fishing, volunteering in the community and spending time with her family.

Jordyn would like to be Jamboree Queen so she can represent the town she loves.

She is excited to promote the Jamboree and grateful for the chance to help and give back to her community.

Her favorite event is the Axe Throw, “because it’s exciting and I think it takes skill and precision to win”.

Shellee is 13 years old and attends Coarsegold Elementary.  

Her parents are Cody and Christlene Jones.  

She has two siblings, Beau and Kimberlee.  

Shellee enjoys attending youth group at Sierra Pines Church, dancing, singing and volunteering in the community.  

Shellee would like to be Jamboree Queen to gain confidence and to help be a role model for others.  

Shellee’s favorite event is the Axe Throw.

Hunter is 16 years old and attends Minarets High School.  

Hunter’s parents are Jessie and Michelle Hutchens.  

She has four siblings, Megan, Shelby, Bailey and Jessie.  

She enjoys FFA, photography, riding horses, skiing and swimming.  

Hunter would like to be Jamboree Queen so she can help the North Fork community.  

Her favorite event is the axe throw,”because my dad and grandpa are contestants and it is fun to watch the beer explode”.

Cheyenne is 16 years old and attends Minarets High School.  

Cheyenne’s mother is Kim Coltra.  She has one sister, Leah.  

Cheyenne enjoys playing guitar, writing music, volunteering at the Community Food Bank and babysitting her twin nephews.  

Cheyenne has always wanted to run for Jamboree Queen.  

Many of her family members have worked in the logging industry and she feels that being Jamboree Queen would be a great experience.  

Her favorite event is the Axe Throw, “because it’s always a thrill when the axe hits a bulls-eye”.

Jocelyn is four years old.  Her parents are Nate & Melissa Hodges.  

She has two sisters, Molly and Avery.  

She enjoys fishing, camping, tennis, riding bikes, softball and soccer.  

Jocelyn would like to be Little Logger because her sister Molly was.  

Her favorite event is the Log Roll because, “you can go swimming”.

Dallas is three years old.  Her mother is Jamie Cook.  

Dallas enjoys camping, going to the lake and riding quads.  

She has two sisters, Chloe and Summer.

Dallas would like to be Little Logger so her and her family can meet new people in the community.

Kessler is four years old.  Her parents are Shea-Lynn Thomas and the late Walt Lopez.

Kessler enjoys gardening, puzzles, riding her bike and coloring.  

She loves animals and has three dogs and one cat.  

Kessler would like to be Little Logger because her father loved attending the Jamboree.  

Her favorite events are the Hot Saw, “because it’s so loud”, and the Log Roll, “because it looks so much fun”.

Timothy is three years old. His parents are Katy Punkin and Ryan Valle.  

He has two sisters Anise and Alissbith.  

Timothy wants to be Little Logger because it’s a family tradition.  

His favorite event is the Axe Throw because his grandfather,

Tim Punkin, was a #1 Competitor in the Axe Throw event for many years.

 

The Jamboree Kick-Off Dinner will be on Saturday April 12th at Town Hall – Doors open at 5:30.

North Fork Boosters Presents – “Candidates Night” Tuesday April 8th 5:30 P.M.

Come and meet the Candidates for:

  • County Supervisor 5th District
  • District Attorney
  • Sheriff-Coroner

We will have the chance to listen to their views on local issues

and they will answer written questions from the community.

There will be a wine and cheese reception prior to meeting the candidates

 

St. Patrick’s Day Celebration and Party March 15th 5:00 PM at Town Hall – Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner – Irish Dancers – DJ and Dancing – Games for Kids – Hot Dogs

  • 6pm NF Town Hall- Tri-Tip Dinner $10 adult/$5 children and Announcement of Lil Princess and Lil Logger
  • 8:30pm NF Rec Center -Woodchoppers Ball with Wheelhouse Band and Jamboree Queen Coronation

2013 Loggers Jamboree Queen Contestants

Kaylynne Moglia, Summer Bulmer, Natori Hatfield, and Rebecca Moisa are the lovely and local Queen contestants for this years Loggers Jamboree.  These young ladies are joined by Sundance Parra, age 5, and Jonathan Bebout, age 2, as contestants  for the Lil’ Princess and Lil’ Logger.    The four Queen contestants  and “Lil” contestants are currently selling Jamboree event/raffle tickets in town at local businesses. 2013 Loggers Jamboree Contestants
